This group of passionate individuals came together with a common purpose: to create a platform that would inspire, educate, and uplift people, guiding them towards a brighter post-pandemic future. Their vision materialized in the form of a remarkable website called TheEndofCOVID.com.
From thence, they brought their idea to UnlimitedWP, for creating a front for radical direction amidst the Covid pandemic! Spearheading their thought processes, Darshan took charge of the project, understanding the flow of the website, translating it into an actionable plan. A culmination of his insights and expertise gained over the years, Darshan Dagli guided the team through weeks of planning and execution with meticulous details and precision!
As the project manager, Birju Vasant accurately filled in the details as narrated by them, transferring the requirements to the development team in the most lucid manner.
Absorbing the primary idea behind the website, Vishwanath Maurya got to his digital easel, and created a charismatic design based on the initial mockups. His creation aimed at drawing in visitors and enchanting them with the idea behind the art, brought to fruition with creative skills and eye for detail!
These very astonishing designs with vivid fluidity and seamless functionality were brought to life by Sourav Maity, with his extensive understanding and experience in building web pages from images, over the years! Following which, each page and every function on it, was stringently tested across every platform.
In the process of identifying along with rectifying any issues by Azhar Shaikh, his under-the-hood methods of weeding out any problems even before they arise, ensured seamless functionality and stability at any given hour of the day!
Two Mountains to Scale
In the course of developing the website, there stood a problem. For all content to be provided as freely accessible under the 21-day free access period, it needed a stringent registration and verification system for user accounts. This tough-as-nails challenge required the registration process, access restrictions, and content availability to be cohesively functional, and unbreachable in terms of user registration and account validation.
To materialize this client’s vision, our team through meticulous planning and execution, employed a combination of themes, unique plugins, and several blocks of custom code. In the process, we leveraged the existing functionality of themes and plugins, along with customizing specific features and elements to align with the project requirements, resulting in a unique and tailored website solution.
The validation process was devised by implementing an intelligent access control mechanism. Wherein, upon the expiry of the 21-day free access, such user accounts would automatically be transitioned into restricted access accounts, while providing an opportunity for continued engagement through premium offerings.
With the final blocks of code in place, the successful implementation of the user registration system and the restriction of free content access after the designated timeframe marked a major breakthrough for the entire project. As a result of our team’s meticulous execution and attention to detail, the website operated flawlessly and delivered on the client’s objectives.
In consideration that scores of visitors will access the website, growing in numbers with each passing day, it had to be migrated to an even stronger platform that would become the Hercules to hold it up, without buckling under ever! The scalability, reliability, and security of the unshakable AWS platform, was the unanimous choice of all, for the purpose.
Birju Vasant with his formidability, and Heena Shingala with her dedication and collaboration, fronted this challenge deciding to move the entire website to AWS hosting server. Deciding to migrate the entire website in one go, they, with their combined expertise, completed the high-scale task successfully, conquering certain difficulties along the way!
