We’ve all been there: You’re doing everything right in your business—you offer excellent WordPress service, work hard, and make money. But then something happens. Maybe it’s a bad month, or perhaps you get sick. Whatever it is, things start to slip. Before long, you’re back where you started from—with no idea how to get ahead of the curve again.

So what do you do? How can YOU take your sales to the next level? In this article, I’ll share some of my favorite practical strategies for growing your WordPress agency and getting ahead of the curve when things get tough.

1. Utilize Social Media To Increase Sales

In today’s world, it’s impossible to ignore the power of social media marketing. In fact, according to a survey by Clutch, 52% of marketers said social media has helped increase their company’s revenue and sales. Social media has become a vital part of marketing because this is how people connect with their friends and family, discover new things, and consume content. In short: it’s how we live our lives.

And when it comes to your agency, you can use that same strategy to increase sales.

The first step is creating a presence on the platforms where your target audience spends most of their time. That means creating an Instagram account for your company, as well as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and more. Then start sharing content—not just about your WordPress services but also about what inspires you and makes your agency unique. Share photos of events or behind-the-scenes glimpses into what goes on at the office (or wherever else you work). Post regularly with new content that includes calls-to-action (CTAs) and links back to your website.

This will help establish trust among potential customers and make them feel like they’re getting a glimpse into the real world behind your brand—a world they want to be part of!

2. Build Your Personal Brand

Personal branding is one of the most effective ways to increase sales. If you’re an established agency, make sure that your name and face are recognizable in the industry. If you’re just starting out and have no idea how to get started, this means building your reputation as a reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable person in your niche. One way to do this is by engaging with your audience on social media, sharing tips and advice on how they can better themselves as well as their businesses!

3.  Create Urgency

If you’re offering a WordPress service, then you want to create a sense of urgency that your customer won’t be able to resist. If you have something that will sell out soon, then it’s time to get that sale in before it’s too late!

This is one of the essential strategies for increasing sales because if you can get someone to buy now instead of later, then it will help them save money and prevent them from missing out on an opportunity. This is important specifically if you’re trying to increase sales over the holidays or another time when people are likely to spend more money than usual.

4. Properly Research And Qualify Prospects

Too many salespeople spend too much time with people who aren’t likely to buy. That’s not necessarily because they’re bad at their jobs—it’s just that they don’t have a system for finding out who is ready to buy.

In order to increase your sales, you need to learn how to do proper research on potential customers and then qualify them based on whether or not they’re going to be able to buy from you. This means spending time finding out what their needs are, what their budget is, and if they have any pre-existing relationships with other agencies that could make it difficult for them to work with yours.

This might take some time upfront, but it will save you tons of wasted time when you realize that specific prospects aren’t going to work out!

5. Don’t Shy From Cold Calling

It’s so true: most people think of cold calling as a scary thing—and it can be! But if we all waited for warm calls to come knocking on our doors… well, we’d never get any work done! Instead of thinking about how scary cold calling is, try thinking about it as an opportunity to overcome something that scares you, gain some confidence by showing yourself that you can do it, and then reap the rewards of doing business with someone who might not have called otherwise!

6. Offer Freebies

Freebies are a great way to get your clients to buy from you over your competitors. If they can get something for free, they will always choose that over paying money for something they don’t know if they will like or not because there is no risk involved in accepting free things as opposed to buying something that may end up being useless after all which also explains why most people love free stuff so much!

7. Upscale with Confidence

As an agency owner, you know that it’s a constant struggle to get new clients—and once they’re on the door, it can be tough to keep them around. But there are ways to make sure they’ll come back: UPSELLING!

Adding an add-on service to your original service is one of the best ways to achieve this. It allows customers to buy more of what they like and builds trust between you and them because they feel like they’re getting a better deal.

If you’ve read this far, you’re probably eager to get to business and apply these strategies to your WordPress agency. If so, we have one last piece of advice: Don’t Wait! The sooner you start implementing these strategies, the sooner you’ll see the results.
